PURPOSE:

Ensure Grimmway Farm’s access control policies are followed, maintained and enforced.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Greet visitors and employees at the gate.
• Ensure all visitors sign in, receive visitor badges, sign out and collect badges.
• Present rules and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) of the facility on request.
• Remain near or at the work area at all times.
• Fill out reports and perform light cleaning task on request.
• May be asked to rotate to a different area of the plant (same position and shift) based on business need.
• Other tasks as assigned but not limited to (i.e., drive small patrol cart to check the parking lot and or patrol parking lot on foot.)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Continuous use of both hands; including grasping, pulling and pushing. Sight, hearing, lifting, standing, climbing stairways, walking and balancing both feet on even and uneven surfaces, bending, twisting, crawling, stooping, kneeling, reaching forward, reaching overhead, reaching below shoulder, wrist turning, neck turning. Must be able to lift up to 45 lbs.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have basic computer program experience.
• Must pass access control training.
• Must be reliable and have excellent communication skills.
• Must have great attendance record.
• Must be professional and capable of working with others.
• Must be able to read and understand written information in English.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.
• May be required to work overtime or Saturdays depending on business need.
• Must pass pre-placement drug/alcohol screen, physical and functional capacity evaluation. Must pass background check.
