Night Shift Warehouse Coordinator
PURPOSE:
The Warehouse Coordinator is the contact person between the Logistics Warehouse/LSP (Logistics Service Provider) and OEM. This position coordinates, directs, monitors, implements, tracks, and reports activities related to daily delivery of parts activities, in regards to warehouse management and/LSP. This position is responsible for taking immediate actions to secure the supply of parts for the production lines.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reports incidents, creates multiple reports, and preventive actions
- contact person for the Logistics Warehouse/LSP in case of any undesirable event about material flow, incidents, etc.
- Ensures that the LSP keeps stock levels accurate
- Supports International inbound/outbound of containers
- Supports LSP with performing inventory analysis and stock corrections
- Ensures materials are stored according to OEM standards/specifications
- Ensures Shuttles are loaded according to demand’s sequence
- Reports challenges with load carriers (LC’s)
- Ensures transfer of parts between the Logistics Warehouse and Assembly are done according to the defined process
- Coordinates necessary actions with counterparts for deliveries to Assembly
- Develops processes, procedures and support training to ensure inventory and ERP program are consistent
- Suggests and implements any changes that would optimize the warehouse activities
- Highlights the importance of maintaining the integrity of materials and equipment, such as trailers, containers and load carriers
- Serves as the ERP key user
- Works with systems parameters liking unloading point, load carrier class, warehouse location classification and check data consistency and/or completeness
- Provides training to new users in the Logistics Warehouse
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Associates or Bachelor’s preferred
- Good computer systems knowledge including experience with Microsoft Office suite
- Team player with the ability to build lasting productive business relationships with contractors, management, and peers
- Ability to effectively communicate information in English, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees and management
- Experience with PINC (preferred)
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Working knowledge of SAP
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, and Power Point)
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in a Logistics, Warehousing, or Supply Chain Management environment within an automotive or automotive related manufacturing setting
- SAP- ERP experience
- WMS Experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Work is normally performed in an office, laboratory, manufacturing floor, or machine shop setting where physical work includes, but is not limited to, sitting, standing, reaching, kneeling, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices.

- Location: Charleston, SC
- Type: Full time
- Schedule: 3rd shift (Sunday 8:40PM- 6:10AM) (Monday-Thursday 9:50PM- 6:10AM)
- Start Date: ASAP
- End Date: 1 year contract
