Ginseng Up Corporation – Machine Operator

QUALIFICATIONS

The Forklift Driver/Machine Operator will be responsible for performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, clean, and perform changeovers on assigned machines. Excellent mechanical skills, including comfort with using tools to make simple repairs. Quick troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail to identify maintenance, product, or operations issues. Ability to communicate well, verbal & written in English, listening and taking instruction critical. Capable of reading and understanding production documents. Follow all written and verbal instructions. Ability to stand, sit or be in other physically demanding positions for long periods of time. Ensure that production requirements and standards are met consistently. Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality. Operate machinery correctly and maintain it with care. Report any machinery issues to management. Work cooperatively with the production team to meet quotas and goals. Willingness to comply with all safety guidelines at all times. Observe all safety guidelines and report safety concerns to management. Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude. Able to work 8 hour shifts standing. Able to work overtime as needed.

Must understand the company’s commitment to food, safety, quality, and continuous improvement as outlined in the Ginseng Up Safety and Quality Policy and to understand the responsibility for carrying out the outlined principles as an expectation of the job.

Must understand and follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and to ensure GMP compliance of fellow employees.
